Norfolk Construction served as General Contractor and self-performing contractor for the multi-phase renovation of Tufts University’s Large Animal Hospital. The project upgraded animal care and surgical spaces through new flooring systems, specialized doors and equipment, structural repairs, and interior finish improvements.

Norfolk self-performed demolition, extensive concrete surface preparation, rubber flooring installation, and custom door installation. Construction was phased and coordinated with Tufts Facilities and hospital staff, using infection control measures, temporary protection, and ventilation to maintain safe, continuous hospital operations.
